You appear to understand most of the conventions of magazine design. You have all of the necessary information and your contents page is easy to navigable and your contents and images are appropriate for your audience. I love that you have anchored your images with page numbers and captions.
Areas for Improvement-
Your main image/ model could be much bigger than this, it is a strong, bright image and could have had a stronger place on the page. You don't have to have a synthetical design, in fact most magazines do not have this, they are not synthetical. Make sure that in your main product you includes more contents as a magazine should look full of content.

How Will I Improve -
To improve I will add more contents to my contents page to ensure that my magazine does not look bare on content and I will also ensure that my main model and image are larger and more noticeable.

ReplyDeleteWhere you have written synthetical it should read "symmetrical" - it is probably my terrible handwriting - sorry - also you could have commented how you hope to improve your design skills between now and the final product.
